4th international project meeting in the Erasmus+ project ‘Bridging the Social’

From 13 to 15 November 2024, the fourth international project meeting of the Erasmus+ project ‘Bridging the Social’ took place in Nancy, France. The project is dedicated to the topic of social innovation in an international context and brings together stakeholders from Romania, Belgium, France and Austria to connect students and the labour market across national borders.

A central topic of the meeting was the finalisation of the project website (https://bridge-erasmusproject.eu/). From January 2025, this platform will offer a new opportunity for international collaboration:

  • Employers can publish job adverts.
  • Students and graduates from the participating universities will be able to upload their CVs and search requests.
  • The platform opens up new avenues for international internships and initial work experience in the European social sector.

The new Master's curriculum of the Department of Applied Social Sciences was also closely linked to the project: In future, there will be Erasmus mobilities for each of the Master's content specialisations, offering both students and lecturers international exchange opportunities.

The meeting in Nancy was an important step in the further development of the project and underlines the aim of networking the European labour market more closely in the social sector and promoting social innovation across national borders.
